Drum 'n' Drummer

Born in the millennium, Madeleine was born in York, England.

 

A natural percussionist from a young age, Madeleine has progressed through Rockschool Grade exams to Grade 6, and is currently studying for her Grade 8 Drumming exam and studied at Crash Drum School under Adam Swales, and recently completed her GCSE Music course and is half way through her A level music course.

 

She was an enthusiastic member of Selby Music Centre and played each week in the Jazz and Brass band's, playing a mixture of classical and contemporary pieces, and performing and competing at Concerts across Yorkshire.

Madeleine has also played drums and percussion for the North Yorkshire County Band, and in July 2016 toured with the County Band to Lake Garda in Italy.

 

In school Madeleine regularly played at School concerts, and accompanied other musicians and singers on Drums and percussion.

 

Comfortable playing all styles of music; Rock, jazz, pop, indie Madeleine also enjoys composing her own music, and experimenting with different grooves.
